The Home Buying Process
Pre Approval
Step 1
This is your very first step that needs to be done before seeing any homes. It allows us to know your price range, find your comfortable monthly payment and helps to set up our game plan to finding your home.
Find A Home
Step 2
Here is the fun part, you are pre approved and now it is time to find the place that you want to call home. This is the phase where I need to know all about you and what you are looking for in your next home.
Place Offer
Step 3
Once we have found your home it is time to place your offer. This is where you have to trust your realtor to negotiate the best deal for you and make sure it is a good strong offer to make sure that you get your desired home.
Due Diligence
Step 4
This is the period that starts on the day that our offer is accepted. It is the time for us to inspect the home and negotiate repairs. Earnest money is on the line so we have to make sure this is done in a timely manner.
Home Inspection
Step 5
It is highly recommended to get your home inspected by a licensed home inspector. It takes a trained eye to discover any possible repairs that we did not catch during the showing. The inspector will provide a detailed report.
Repairs
Step 6
The inspection report will list possible repairs. We will sit down and determine which repairs we will ask of the seller. Then we will negotiate to see what will be done.
Appraisal
Step 7
This is the step where your mortgage lender will want to make sure the home is worth the amount they are loaning you to purchase the home. An appraiser will come out and determine the value of the home.
Closing
Step 8
This is the day we have been waiting for , YOU MADE IT ! We will meet at the attorney’s office, sign the necessary paperwork for closing on your home and the keys to your new home will be put in your hand. CONGRATULATIONS YOU ARE NOW A NEW HOMEOWNER !
